In Minneapolis’s Seward neighborhood, the home carves out a spacious respite on a tight urban lot. Interior lofted volumes house bedrooms and a home office, overlooking the open living space below, and are supported by a custom steel column. Despite a modest budget and a 30’ site, the BarnHouse still has 1800 SF, a full basement, 3 BR, 2.5 baths, and industrially crafted weathering-steel window shrouds.
