Big mountains. weeHouse. The Palomar Mountain weeHouse serves as a get-a-way home for a San Diego family. Siting was key—the pier foundation, and a site-built entrance ramp, allows the house to sit lightly on a steep, rocky slope.
This house shipped essentially complete with standard weeHouse finishes including IKEA cabinetry, glass tiled shower, Kohler fixtures, Andersen windows, weeHouse “loading dock” mirrors, and wood-wrap walls from factory to site. Some details including the George Nelson pendant lamp and wood-burning stove were installed post-delivery.
At 670 SF, this weeHouse was built in 2007, and displayed at the “Dwell on Design” trade-show in San Francisco before being shipped and installed at its permanent site.
