This bungalow-style house’s shell is respectful of its 1911 origins and plays well with objects inserted as new contemporary additions. Interior pathway elements created an axial organizing arrangement. Twin garages anchor a newly tiered backyard that continues a kind of vertical pathway throughout the property. Cobalt blue, copper, and bright white extend the sense of playfulness to the exterior, while retained original elements like oak wood work and hard wood floors give due respect to the past.
